Happy Halloween!!!

 

Halloween this year was a CRAZY, but very fun and eventful day. Brad was working all day so we got together with Stace, Naves, and my mom. We decided to try the Main Street Trick-or-Treating this year. It was fun to go from store to store and it was fun to see Max and Naves loving it and having a blast. Max was a pro at saying Trick-or-Treat and Happy Halloween!

My little "Sheriff"!

He really wanted to be a Sheriff and SWAT is the closest thing I could find to a Sheriff so he was happy. We just kept calling him a Sheriff and I don't think he knew the difference! He was so cute in his little costume!

Kannon was our little Skeleton. I wanted him to be Max's inmate, but couldn't find a cute costume for it so we went the easy, comfy route for him. He was SO good all day and he was the cutest skeleton around!

After Main Street we went to see Nana and Papa Blau. They fed us yummy soup for lunch and then we headed to the mall. A little bit of a joke. I don't think we'll do it again, but it was still fun. Then it was time to go Trick-or Treat with daddy at the Sheriff's Office. Max LOVED seeing daddy and LOVED getting candy at the office. After the office the kids were spent so we headed home for a little rest and so Nana and Papa could come visit. They gave the boys some fun Halloween Treats and yummy cupcakes. I was ready to be done for the night, but my dad hadn't seen the boys yet so we headed out to my parents to Trick-or-Treat there. By this time Max was so exhausted and so we called it a night! 

I'm shocked I got Max to take a picture with me after the long day that we had!

We were smiling then we did our SCARY faces! LOL

Max made a HAUL and it was so fun watching him Trick-or-Treat!

 Next year I'm letting my kids take naps

....

The night might end better! LOL

Fall Leaves...

We were raking the leaves in the yard and Max had so much fun running in them and playing...he was entertained for a while.

Pumpkin Painting!

Max and Naves LOVED painting their pumpkins this year!

I decided it would be fun to put Kannon in one...He DIDN'T think it was a good idea!

Max's First Race!

Mantua Kids K Spooktacular Fun Run....

Hilary invited Max to run the Mantua Kids K Race with Chance and Baylor, and I thought, why not? He'll love it! So we signed him up and he was really excited!
It's a little over a half a mile...kind of a long ways for a little man, so I was kind of nervous!

We lined them up and they were ready and waiting for the GO to start the race.

I will never forget Max's face when it started...he looked scared to death, but was running along. He got a little ways and then turned around and started running back to me crying. I told him that he was doing a great job and to keep going, but he wouldn't. Brandon, Max's Uncle was there and offered to run with him since I had Kannon there to. He was excited to run with Brandon and did great!

 

His face when he was finishing was PRICELESS! He was very proud of himself and so was his momma! He did an awesome job!

This is something that we will for sure do next year. All the kids get a shirt and a treat bag at the end of the race and I think it's great to get them out exercising!

Fall Fun!

I LOVE Fall, but hate that it means that winter is right around the corner

....

OH-WELL! It's coming if we like it or not, so we're making the most of the FALL!

Today was Brad's day off (doesn't happen often) so we planned a fun trip to the American West Heritage Center with the Rawlinson's.

The night was filled with train rides, pony rides, a giant slide, and freezing our booty off! It was a blast!

 

I thought Max would have been scared of the horses, but he actually loved them. I was so happy that he was excited to ride them. He kept saying "Giddy up!" Kyle and Max had a blast!

The boys thought the train ride was a blast as well! It just goes around in a circle, but they were laughing and having tons of fun!

The GIANT slide was the hit if the night. Max was nervous at first, but Brad went down with him once and then he was BRAVE and did it himself. Hearing Kyle and Max laugh so much made my night! I LOVE those boys and I'm so glad that they are such good friends!

.Lately.

 

I finally have a minute to update about our life. I feel the last time I updated I was going a little crazy, so my post was a little crazy! Let me clarify. I LOVE my life, but the adjustment from one to two has most definitely thrown me for a loop. I wouldn't change anything about it and I'm just NOW getting the hang of everything and feeling OK about being a mom to the two three BEST boys EVER!

I can't believe that my little Kanner Man is 3 months old already...he has FINALLY gotten over the NASTY colic phase and is so much happier and better than ever!

.I'm sure he's about 14 pounds now...probably more than that:).

.Loves his hands.

.Loves to smile and giggle (my favorite).

.Loves to eat (nursing is going a lot better than it did with Max).

.Finally sleeping better...only eating once in the night usually.

.Found your voice...brother thinks you speak Spanish.

.Loves tummy time.

.Loves his swing....Yay, I can finally put him down for a minute.

.Loves big brother (Max has had Pink Eye and can't give you kisses or anything and he's been miserable. He told Brad the other day, "It's so hard to not love brother, dad!").

LOVE them!

This little boy has been my ROCK, he is the reason I made it through those hard days. He is the BEST big brother EVER and I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for sending him to us! We are so lucky! We have hard days, but they make the good days even BETTER! I LOVE him so so much!
